Director of Operations (Sourthwest Region): Steven Rians
Steve began his career as a design trainee at Culligan Fire Protection, Inc. in Peoria, Illinois in 1980. In 1982, He moved to Fire Security Systems, Inc., where he served in a variety of roles in which he ultimately served as the company's branch manager in College Station, Texas. In 1993, He formed Standard Automatic Fire Enterprises, Inc. and led the company as president and CEO until its acquisition by AFPG in December 2001. Currently, he serves as Director of Operations for AFPG's Southwest Region. He has a Bachelors Degree in Technical Sciences and an Associates Degree in Architectural Technology from Southern Illinois University. He is also a past President of the Texas Fire Sprinkler Contractors Association.
